At Apex Ex Colorado we have been monitoring the COVID-19  situation closely. We have decided to postpone our group programming until, tentatively, April 10th, 2020. We are making this decision to protect you as our guests, and also to protect our guides.

It is a complex situation and we feel it is best to give things some time to settle and reset before we continue providing group gatherings.

The options that are available to you are:

  1. Reschedule to a later group trip in 2020 at no additional cost. The nature of these trips may be changed by weather/snow conditions into hiking, but the location and the fondue will not change.

These trips are tentatively planned for weekends beginning in April 2020.

  1. You can go ahead and reserve a spot to go snowshoeing in 2021 for $15 per person rescheduling fee. We run trips on weekends from January until March.

You do not need to know your specific date, but we will want to have confirmation of those changes.

  1. You can upgrade to a Private Half Day of Hiking with Fondue or a Meat and Cheese Board, in Boulder, Golden, or Rocky Mountain National Park.

To cover costs to run these trips we have a $225 minimum for Private Trips. This is a discounted price and it is lowered to help make it more affordable. Your voucher and any rescheduling fees you may have had in 2020 apply to this minimum.

If you have more than 4 people (up to 7) the $225 will be the total, which is a significant discount. If you want to add friends to your trip, this is a great option.

  1. You can apply the money you put down to any trips that we offer throughout the 2020 season, but you will need to pay the difference. There is no reschedule fee for this option.

  2. You may reach out to Groupon to request a refund.

We are a small business and your business is important to us, and so is your and our health. We hope that you’ll want to have an adventure with us sometime in 2020 or 2021.

For the trips we are still running, we are still following our standard health guidelines, but are specifically focused on ensuring:

  1. Training our full-time staff in proper protective habits to help ensure guest/staff safety.

  2. Communicating current information to seasonal staff regarding proper safety habits.

  3. Providing additional hand sanitizer stations for guests/staff use.

  4.  Requesting that guests who feel any reason to avoid group activities feel capable of doing so, while also providing our services and keeping our small business going.

Please respond to this email when you are ready. We appreciate your communication so we can continue to provide quality trips which are focused on you, our guests.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you outside this season!
