A GREAT NEXT STEP TOWARDS BECOMING MORE INDEPENDENT AT THE CRAG, STAYING SAFE WHILE CLIMBING OUTSIDE.
You will learn the next level of climbing movement, belaying with different devices, an introduction to anchor building and how to stay safe while going out on your own. After this trip you will be more prepared to climb on your own, or continue to learn through a Trad or Sport Climbing course.
This day is geared to get you in a better position to safely become activity independent. We understand that different people have different goals. Some folks like to learn every detail: rappelling, knots, belay technique, anchor systems. Others are more interested in the experience and are ready to try something new. Our guides will keep you safe, both physically and emotionally while you learn the ropes. If you are considering this trip, you might also be interested in our multi-pitch trips.
