What To Bring

Half Day Hike/Climb Gear List:

  • Hiking shoes or boots 

  • Appropriate clothing and layers for the day. (You can check the weather here)

  • Rain Jacket

  • Backpack

  • 1-2 full water bottles and snacks.

  • Any personal medications needed. (Let your guide know about any pertinent medical history!)

  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat.

  • Camera or phone for pictures.

  • Any personnel climbing gear. i.e harness, helmet, shoes, carabiners, belay devices, or anchor building materials. (Not required but, beneficial to get to know personal gear.)

  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat.

  • Camera or phone for pictures.

Multi-Pitch Climb Gear List:

  • Hiking shoes or boots 

  • Appropriate clothing and layers for the day. (You can check the weather here)

  • Rain Jacket

  • Extra layer and gloves incase of sudden weather change.

  • Backpack

  • Personal climbing gear. i.e. Harness, Helmet, Shoes (Not required) 

  • 2 full water bottles, Lunch, and snacks.

  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat.

  • Camera or phone for pictures.

Backpacking Gear List:

  • Hiking shoes or boots

  • Synthetic under wear and sports bra (For the amount of days out)

  • Socks (for amount of days out and extra)

  • Warm hat and gloves.

  • Hiking pants and/or shorts

  • Down jacket

  • Top and bottom base layer

  • Fleece jacket. 

  • Rain Jacket

  • Extra layer and gloves incase of sudden weather change.

  • Backpack

  • Welcome to bring personal camping items i.e tent, sleeping bag and pad, water filter, stove and cook kit, bowl and utensil, small coffee mug or cup. (Not required Apex Ex Colorado can provide camping items if needed)
